Doo Wop Wed Widing Hood - School Show: Nov 1st, 12:00pm
It’s the 1950s! Hula-hoops are in high demand, and so is Little Red Riding Hood! Wise Prince Jason, Strong Prince Justin and Loud Prince Frank all want to “woo Wed Widing Hood”. The king and queen hire the Fairy Godmother to set three tasks for the princes. Only the prince who can find the missing girl, defeat the dragon, and awaken a castle visitor from her slumber will earn the right to “woo Wed Widing Hood”! Tickets Selling Fast!
SEUSSICAL JR - School Show: November 14th, 12:00pm
Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favourite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza. Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers! A Wrinkle in Time - School Show: November 29th, 12:00pm
One of literature's most enduring young heroines, Meg Murry, is back -- braces, stubbornness and all. Once again, she's joining forces with Mrs Whatsit, Charles Wallace, Calvin O'Keefe and more to battle the forces of evil so she can rescue her father, save humanity and find herself. In the end, we know two things for sure: 1. Love CAN overcome evil and 2. There IS such a thing as a tesseract. |
FRANKIE BUILDS ANDROIDS - School Show: Nov. 7th, 12:00pm
When a group project goes awry, Frankie devises an unconventional solution: she replaces all her classmates with android replicas, each programmed to correct their flaws. What follows is a hilarious and unexpected string of events that challenges Frankie’s ideas of belonging and perfection. Featuring a modern synth-pop score, this sci-fi musical comedy explores the ways we build narratives around one another and how a community where everyone is exactly the same is not a community at all. Queens - School Show: November 22nd, 12:00pm
King Henry VIII is trapped in purgatory, bound to his throne by a sinister Fool and the ghostly Women in White. Here in his gilded cage, he is forced to relive the sins he committed against his queens, mistresses and people of the court, over and over again, for an eternity. Queens incorporates themes of murder, violence, childloss, and mature themes. This production is recommended for audiences 14+. Tickets Selling fast!
Rock of Ages - School Show: December 5th, 12:00pm
Rock of Ages: Youth Edition has all the 80s rock anthems you know and love, with a fun-filled story of romance, fame, and always believin’! This Broadway hit musical will have the audience dancing in the aisles! |
Popstars - School Show: December 12th, 12:00pm
Popstars is a high-energy musical packed with smash hits from the hyper-coloured 1990's by artists such as Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, TLC, *NSYNC, Christina Aguilera, MC Hammer, and many more. Mark is head over heels in love with his girlfriend, queen bee Shannon Van de Witt but when Shannon learns that pop-band impresario Simon Austin is the surprise judge at the State Talent Show, she dumps Mark for her chance at showbiz stardom. Mark rapidly goes from High School hero to High School zero. His garage band buddies rally around him and soon a plan for revenge is hatched to change their grunge band to a boy band and snatch the Talent Show title from Shannon’s "Candy Girls". It’s sure to be one to remember! |

Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.
