YOUTH VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Stage Managers are responsible for managing many different aspects of the show. They take notes on blocking during rehearsals, send out e-mails regarding the show/rehearsal process, organize lighting and sound cues, touch base with parent volunteers about costumes and props, keep actors on track during rehearsals and so much more! This team is very important as they are the rock which holds the fort together. There are two Stage Manager volunteer positions; Assistant Stage Manager and Stage Manager. During the show, the Assistant Stage Manager works backstage on keeping props, set pieces, and cast members organized while the Stage Manager works in the tech booth. Assistant Stage Managers must be in grade 7 and Stage Managers must be in grade 8. This is a great way to gain a new theatre experience, and build your resume!
The Stage Management team is responsible for attending every rehearsal, as well as arriving 15 before hand. They also must be at the tech and dress rehearsals, and every performance of the show.
